The Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 requires all workplaces and accommodation buildings to have:
• Emergency management training conducted annually by a qualified person
• Appoint a qualified Fire Safety Adviser
• Evacuation exercises conducted annually
• Written procedures to follow for emergencies
• Diagrams and Signs for occupants to read for quick egress
