AssentTECS Education and training consultants to the VET Sector

Introduction

AssentTECS was established in 1996 to fill a void
in the marketplace for qualified, experienced education
consultants, particularly in the vocational education
and training (VET) sector.
The Principal Consultant, Leslie Mackee and the
AssentTECS team bring to the business over
30 years experience in training and education.

To date, AssentTECS has worked for a variety of clients in both the private and public sectors. The key services that we are able to provide include:

• Customised course design and development for accreditation;
• Competency standards development;
• Instructional design and development of learning and assessment resources to AQTF standards;
• Assisting organisations to gain registration as a training provider to AQTF Standards, through the development of customised quality systems;
• Conducting AQTF compliance audits; ISO 9000 audits, group training organisation audit services and assessments against the Australian Business Excellence Awards Framework;
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.

In 2003, AssentTECS was selected by the Department of Education Training and Employment (DETA), as a pre-qualified supplier of consulting services to the VET sector, in the specific areas of:

• Registration services; and
• Course design.
